how does table GRFNREPFIELDMAP get updated

Hello Papiya Chatterjee,

The primary purpose of this table GRFNREPFIELDMAP is to maintain Special fields for reporting.

Using this table, its now possible to change the data element of reporting field without changing the DDIC structure. The Data Element can be changed in the table view GRFNREPFIELDMAP.

If you go through this note 1710049 - Drivers and impacts are missing in the reporting, you will understand how a new content is added to the table GRFNREPFIELDMAP.

Thank you Rakesh.

I needed some extra field for H4 PC report, so added a new field in

GRFNREPFIELDMAP and then updated the value from the BAdi. This is working fine, just I am not sure about the effect.

Moreover a tried to do a copy of the report H4 and copied the function group. But not sure how to change the structure being called for the copied report, because now by default it is calling the parent structure.
