Configure a new client on XI server

Hi,

We have created a new client(002) on XI server(client 001).And we want to use this client as R/3 in the proxy to RFC screnario.Currently I have generated a proxy on and report on 002.My RFC is on 001. when i execute the proxy the error msg shown is "system not configured as XI integration engine" .What configurations do i have to do , so that the proxy scenario runs?

Pragati,

go to SLD, define a Tech system and corresponding buss system for this client.

Go to sxmb_adm> int Eng config > see if it configured as integration server

Change the client in UME.

Check if this newly added client is added in the techinical system of you XI Server in the SLD.

I have added the new client in the technical system and have also created the bussn sys for this. Can u explain how to do the proxy to RFC sceanrio, using two clients on same XI server?I don't want to use any other R/3 system other then these two clients.

I think you will have to go to SM59 and try creating an Internal Connection.

RFC Destinations----> Internal connections

ou Can spefify the client there, try it!!!
