Installation ABAP+Java(add-in) jlaunch.exe missing

Hi,all

After finish installation ABAP and web AS java(add-in)

My java engine only has processes

msg_server.exe

enserver.exe

and process

Dispatcher and server process (two jlaunch.exe)

n Software Deployment Manager (SDM, jlaunch.exe)

is not there.

I think I miss jlauch.exe.And I can not use jcmon

and Visual Administrator.

Obviously (as you said) your server process is not running... Have you looked at the trace files in the work directory, also look at your /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEB*/j2ee/cluster/server0/log and system directories....

Well 2 things.

It says it can't connect to the message server, is the process up? If not did you check the trace files for the message server?

2nd, an expired license will still let the J2EE stack startup but for only 30 minutes, after that it restarts itself. Is this the behavior you're seeing? You can check the license (if the J2EE engine starts up) in the Licensing Adapter service.
