file to file over https

Hello Experts,

I have a IDOC to file scenario where the file is being placed on a FTP location on port 21.

Now the team wants to change it port 443 over https?

Can this be done in PI? Will this be a file to Soap (with attachments)... any walkthrough document available?

You would need to ask the provider what kind of HTTP Service they provide? At the end of the day, yes you can use the HTTP Adapter but what you do in PI depends on the HTTP Service they provide. its methods ( GET. POST ) and the payload / content to be posted over..
