Problem is attaching the document

Hi all,

I am not able to attach a document in PLM and it gives error as

"Error occrred wuhen creating the document, reason: Operation is not allowed (CFF_VERS)"

I am trying to attach a document in PLM portal so please suggest if any configuration is required or is TREX server is mandatory to be activated.

Hi Shubham,

I had already checked this link, here they are using BADI but in our scenario we are not using any BADI to upload the documents and also i have checked the RFC connections it is working.

This is a generic error message so it provides no information concerning the specific reason why the upload is failing. In case you were not able to solve this yourself by rechecking the involved Content Server configuration (which is mostly not related to PPM application), you may need to place a Customer Incident so that a root cause analysis can be carried out.

I have raised this issue to SAP, I got a reply that some certificates are missing and i need to implement note 361123 I will implement this note with the help of BASIS team and see if it can be solved.
