SAP Work Manager 6.3 Component Description Search

SAP Work Manager, Component Description Search does not allow the use of Astricks (*) while searching.

The only way to search is knowing the first word of the Material Description.

Does anyone have a solution to improve the Description Search?

Has anyone else raised this?

What I have done for this issue, is to copy the Complex Table to a Z object.

by copying the complex table to Z object, how it works for searching based on astrick(*)? i don't think it will work.

Depending on how you display it on the screen the tile list for example supports quick search using contains.

You can also implement something similar to the Equipment and Functional Location search which searches the Complex Table using a contains on the description.

This is a known issue. Agentry client doesn't support astrick(*) based search for drop down.

May be you can request SAP this feature in future Work Manager releases.

Most of the customer wants this feature. And i think it will really benefit for all the customer
