Apply settings for EWA Monitoring

Hi All,

I am doing Managed system setup for one of our production system and getting below error while running step "Apply settings for EWA monitoring"

under step 8 "Finalize Configuration"

Directory configuration for managed object <SID>~ABAP ended with errors

Exception getting MEA for template <SDI>~ABAP

All the previous steps ran successfully but only this step is ending in error.

Could you please suggest ?

My solution Manager is 7.1 SP13 with MSSQL database on Windows OS.

Hello Manish,

For EWA you should only choose ABAP systems, there should be a correction coming in the near future which will prevent JAVA systems from being available in the "define scope " step which would ultimately mean this issue is avoided, until then JAVA systems should be avoided in the "define scope" step.
