Copy Commitments/Actuals from CO to FM

Hi experts,

Is there a way to copy Commitments/Actuals from CO to FM? We have a scenario where Funds Management will go live after the financial year has already begun in an already existing system. Budget will be loaded in CO at beginning of financial year. By the time FM is switched on, we will have commitments/actuals already in CO. We want to therefore copy the budget as well as commitments/actuals from CO to FM.

Hi,

You cannot copy commitments from CO to FM. What you can do is to re-create post-factum FM documents, first by assigning FM objects to relevant commitments/actuals via FMCN. Read documentation for this transaction: you will have to make the reassignment and subsequent posting of the documents. Also, this issue was discussed on SCN; please, search.
