File/FTP adapter : Unix installed PI/XI needs to access windows directory

Unix installed PI/XI needs to access windows directory.

I defined File/FTP adapter.But I did not access to folder in a windows platform.

I think my PI/XI installed on Unix has some access problems to windows.

I red File/FTP adapter from help.sap.com but no idea about this subject.

How can I do that?

The folder sharing should work on the windows machine. Once you share it, you will have to give the XI user, full permission to access the folder. Make sure that your XI user does not have to provide any credentials while trying to login.

Hi,

if possible you need to make your windows folder shared

then you need to map this folder on your unix

(don't know if it's possible)

if you'll be able to access win folder from XI machine

try the same using file adapter

if not you can always go for FTP

(start FTP server on win and then you can use

FTP adapter to access it directly)
