Hello Colleagues,

I try to configure a "HTTP Connection to ABAP System" Type H from a ABAP Sender system to SAP PI 7.31 SP14.

Regarding the RFC connection I have to configure:

Hostname: <host>

Service No.: <service number>

Path Prefix: /sap/xi/adapter_plain ....

as well

user, password ..

During connecition test I will receive an popup login window.

The configured user exist in the SAP PI system (client 001) and has in addition role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER.

Do you have any idea why the conneciton dosen't work?

Many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Jochen

Dear Jochen,

Please check the following SAP help site:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/da/11df3a9b10355ae10000000a11405a/frameset.htm

What is the output of the connection test?

Best regards,

Bence

Dear Bence,

many thanks for replay!

In the meantime I found the solution.

Under service "/sap/xi/adapter_plain" go to tab "Logon Data".

There is a check box "Use All Logon Procedures".

I have activate the check box.

The logon process goes through all possible logon procedures up to one is successfully.

I be aware about recourses and delay.

But for me it was acceptable.

If you don't want to activate "Use All Logon Procedures", you have a different possibility to modify the "Logon Procedure List". Change the sequence.

I wasn't quite sure about side effects and dependencies.

Because of that, It wasn't an option for me.

Regards,

Jochen
