Hi all,

The script server for usage of PAL, .... is activated on a host by

However, if I have an MCOS deployment with two HANA systems on one host and if I want to activate the script server only on one of those HANA systems, how do I have to proceed resp. adapt the above shown SQL statement?

Thanks & Regards,

Ingo

Even if this setting is host related, it only applies to the one SAP HANA installation you're currently administering.

So, if there are two HANA systems e.g. H01 and H02 and you set the parameter for the H01, then only the deamon running under h01adm will start its scriptserver.

Hi Ingo,

You misunderstand it.

Let me explain, in MCOS system, you execute the above command in instance A which will not affect instance B.

So for word host, if you have a scale-out environment for instance A, you can defined which host to active script server.

If instance is located only in one host, there is no differece for system or host level.
