Hi,

If you click the bidder link directly, what is the symptom? Can this bidder be opened in a pop up page? Or any error?

Hi Vinita,

Issue has been resolved. In our case the SRM POWL action buttons/links are working through the following URL

http://<FQDN>:<port>/irj/portal. Previously we are used the URL for logon to SRM portal is-http://<hostname>:<port>/irj/portal.

Regards,

Ramesh.

Hi Ramesh,

This issue usually occurs, when the domain and/or protocol is different for portal and for ABAP request of the POWL. Please refer to the following KBA for more information: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2279800.

Hi Daniel,

Could you please help me to find where to maintain protocol in ABAP system.

Hi Ramesh,

It is recommended to change the protocol of the portal, but if you would like to change the protocol of the ABAP request, please refer to the following Wiki page: Using Proxies - Business Server Pages [Read-only] - SCN Wiki.

Unfortunately I can't help you more detailed in protocol change, because I don't have enough knowledge in that area.

Best Regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I am little bit confused for change the protocol in portal. Could you help me with step-by-step screen or path to find the root to change the protocol type.

Hi Ramesh,

You can check and maintain the domain and protocol under System Administration tab, in System Landscape function. Here choose the relevant system and click Configure. Here you will find Web As Host name and Protocol.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

We are checked/maintained the protocol type for both Portal and ABAP system. It has maintained same protocol type- http.

Still we are getting same issue.

Ramesh.

Okay, I understand that the protocol is the same. But I would like you to check if the domain (host name) and port are the same too.

Could you please check if absolute OBN navigation is set to "on" in your system? You can check it in customizing table BBP_CUST using transaction SM30. Here if you can't find the following entry, please add it and retest the behavior:

KEY: ABS_OBN

Value: ON

If the issue still occurs afterwards, is it possible to provide an HTTPWatch trace of the button click?

Hi Daniel,

We have maintained ABS_OBN as a new entry in SM30. Still we are facing the same issue.

And I am not able to upload the HTTPWatch file into this thread. Kindly provide your mail id(If possible) to share file directly to you.

Regards,

Ramesh.
