Hi,

The remote assistant (PA client) does not connect to a BI Server. It connects to a PA server. Hence you would need to install one if that's not the case already.

Please refer to the server install guide in our help portal (help.sap.com/pa).

Best regards

Antoine

Hi Antoine,

Sorry for delay,

When I Login Remote Assistant 3.0 in server successfully.

Here given user name and password are server login credentials.

When I Try to Login in as my local system it shows  above error.

Here I given  as my system credentials and also server login credentials, in both cases shows same error.

Note:In both cases server details are same.

Hi,

Can you contact the server from the client (using ping)?

See page 11 of guide here https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100008616362016E/pa30_client_install_en.pdf

Server and Remote Assistant Installed on Different Systems If the server and the Remote Assistant applications are set up on two different systems, check the following points:

○ The client network system is correctly connected to the remote server. From a command tool application, execute a ping application to your server IP, it should return a valid reply message.

○ Check that no firewall application, or any protection applications, blocks the server port number and/or Remote Assistant.

Thanks & regards

A second one on the same page

Automated Analytics client cannot connect to the server

Try to reach the server from your client computer using the same name or IP address you use in your client application.

The server could not be reachable because:

● IP Address or DNS hostname is unresolvable from your client computer.

● The server computer is not running.

If the server is reachable, this error can be due to the fact that the Authserver is not started on the server computer
