Earliest and Latest Delivery date in Sale order

Dear All,

Client has the requirement as in sale order earliest Date & Latest Delivery date ( either system should generate it automatically, by putting X-3 & X+3, where X is the Delivery date). according delivery should be done.

I suggested to user as we can requested delivery date as per required.

What is the exact business requirement to have the earliest and latest Delivery date in Sales Order? Anyways the actual delivery will be done based on the Material availability date and not based on earliest or latest delivery dates.

Probably you can think of adding a new Field (Z-Field in Additional data B tab at Item level) which will be filled in by a custom code in user exit with the calculated earliest and latest delivery dates.

You can get this requirement through customization only no such standard process in SAP SD.
