Slow processing of PI messages to SFTP server.

Hi All,

We have a Soap to SFTP scenario in SAP PI 7.4 SP08.

In the SFTP channel(Advantco Adapter) all steps occur at normal speed till the below step in Audit log.

Message entered AF MP exit bean and will now be passed to the JCA adapter.

The next log for this appears almost 3-4minutes later. The next step is to write the file in a mounted folder.

This is happening for all the messages that are flowing.

Also one point.

We are actually placing the files in the D://Folder/path

So in channel we configure /cygdrive/d/Folder/path.

As per my understand the cygdrive is some software which maps this drive.

Can this be causing the issue?

Can you share the entire audit log so we can understand this better!

Hi Bhavesh,

It seems the receiver server has some issues when we try to reach them and make SFTP calls.

Is there a resolution known that SFTP server team needs to implement?

Hello Shai,

check if there is any connectivity issues between PI and SFTP.

It might be also due to PI performance.
