When you create the delivery document for your sales order, you can pick multiple batches for a single line item using batch split. Not sure if this is what you are looking for as your question is not very clear.
My question was how multiple batch numbers will determine for a single line item in a delivery. This is an enhancement I am working on and could you please let me know what logic i have to give to abapers?
You will not create a new batch in delivery. During production process itself, this would be freezed and during SD process, when you create delivery, system will automatically fetch the required batch number once you select the material. Search SCN for more details on how batch determination will happen in SAP
Your requirement is not clear. For delivery processing this is available in SAP. In sales order this is not possible. Please explain your business process and requirement.
