Idoc to Web service Aysnchronous catching fault

Hi Sap All.

i have a situation where i configured an IDOC to Web service Asynchronous Interface.

when an idoc is Triggered in SAP , Moni says it went to Web service successfully through the Integration engine but in the adapter engine it says as System error

Delivering the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException.

can any one help me why iam getting as system error in the adapter engine.

Hello Jagdish,

Check the below points.

1.Endpoint in the receiver channel.

2.Soap action.

3.Any proxy settings.

If everything is fine, Check whether PI is able to ping the destination from server level.

Also check triggering message from SOAP UI ,to check if the WS is working fine.

Have you tried to test the webservice via SOAPui?, the problem could be about connectivity or timeout, check with your basis team if the PI has access to the endpoint URL.

Can you provide the full error log? this can be authorization or some other error.
