SAP MDG integration with Oracle ERP

Hello Gurus,

I am having one requirement in which we need to migrate from oracle to sap containing the product master.

Could any one please through some light on how can we accomplish the below things:-

1. how to map the oracle material master fields to SAP material master fields so that we dont need to create hundreds of custom fields in MDG, and instead reuse the existing standard fields of ECC.

2.  How to load the data from oracle to SAP MDG?

If anyone has come across any such scenario with Oracle to SAP MDG, please share some useful points.

Ashu,

it depends on how you want to load the data to MDG

i.e. with governance or without governance....

if with governance you can go ahead with import func..of MDG

or not there are many middle ware tools are available to import the data...

Also can we use existing standard fields of SAP MDG or we have to extend the MM data model with custom fields?

Ashu,

you have to use the middle ware PI or BODS for initial load....
