in EWM is it possible to copy HU weight into gross weight ?

Hi experts,

our ewm system calculates only material  gross weight as ODO gross weight,  but I checked each HU has its tare weight.

maybe this requirement already have a solution,

is it possible to allow system calculate the picking weight also consider the picked HU tare weight?

Hello Jian,

Find your packaging material and change material master data with /SCWM/MAT1.

In UOM section, enter tare weight into Gross Weight(screen field name: /SAPAPO/MATIO-BRGEW_TC).

SAP description:

Use

If the product is a packaging material, this weight corresponds to the tare weight of the  handling unit (HU).
