Hide Version on xMII Home Page

Hello,

In MII, we're trying to hide the version text that appears over the image at the Menu.jsp.

Ex.

I guess my question is, is it possible to customize the Menu.jsp?

The visibility of the version text that appears over the MII spalsh screen in the home page is not configurable.

Ria,

I'm told that in previous versions of MII, you could comment the version number out of the JSP but we haven't been able to find where the version number is coming from in this build. Also it's possible to change the font size in the theme's CSS (ls_standards.css, in our case), however that solution poses too many risks and we would prefer to avoid that if all possible.

You could create a custom homepage.

• Open workbench
• Open Tools->Navigation Editor
• Choose a role which includes all your users, probably SAP_XMII_User
• Choose "Content Display Tabs"
• Remove link to "Menu.jsp"
• Add link to your custom homepage.
