Hi, Is VEA supported on Windows 10? I am asking because I've been using VEA and/or Right Hemisphere for CAD translation for over 10 years and I cannot get it working on Windows 10. Collada (.dae) files open but the parts are not assembled correctly. JT files fail to open with the following message:
-[Information]:Reading file with translator JT\JTTranslator.exe
+[Fatal]:Could not start Target process.
-[Fatal]:Error occurred in Chromium library: <No Error>.
-[Fatal]:Translation error: Exception occurred.
+[Fatal]:Could not execute Sandbox session.
-[Fatal]:Session finished with exit code: Success.
I get the same error (above) with step files also. The files I've tried all open fine on Windows 7 running the same software build of VEA. I am running SAP VEA 8.0 x64, Version 8.0.500.8706. My laptop is Windows 10 Enterprise version 1511 with an Intel Xenon CPU E3-1535M v5 @ 2.9 GHx 64-bit OS.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Julie

Hi Julie,
This is strange, I think it's an issue related to Windows 10 OS, because with Windows 7 or 8 this works fine. I suggest to open an incident to SAP support.
Ciao,
Salvatore
