probability was disable mode in sales document types

hi SD experts,

if i want to create the new sales document types (VOV8) but the probability field was disable mode how can i enter the 100% in that field is there any assignment for that if at all if i go for standard one (OR) there was a 100% of probability how can i achieve this could you please share your valuable ideas on this

Allowed inputs for field "Probablity" is hardcoded and related to SD document category. For sales order (Document category "C") this field is Display only and %100 always. For inquiries ("A") or quotations ("B") you can change its value.

A solution recommendation: Try changing the document category from C to B, press enter, then change probability, and change document category to C again. It seems like as if it will work, but I'm not sure.

Apart from order type, you can also see the "Order Probability" in Customer master and most probably, this would be set to "Hidden" in account group configuration.  You may change this to "Optional entry" and try.
