MSC3N- Batch created in plant 1300 but not in location - Vendor consignment

Need your help in below scenario

Issue: During goods receipt for a vendor consignment PO, batches are created only at plant level. Even though we pass plant and location details in MIGO, if we check batch details in MSC3n after goods receipt, it says batch created in plant. Hence we are facing issue while shipping this material.

Please suggest possible solution for the same.

A goods receipt of consignment stock creates an entry in table MKOL

A transfer into own stock will create the storage segment MCHB that you can access with MSC3N then.

You should be able to create the storage segment with MSC1N or by a movement into own stock.

Unfortunately you did not mention what kind of problems you get while shipping, but you probably ship from own stock that does not yet exist.

Thanks for the input Juergen. I understood the issue now. We have configured stock determination rule to consider vendor consignment stock (601K). But it was not assigned to the material. Hence while PGI, we were getting 'Batch doesn't exist' error. This is resolved now.

Steps:

1) Assigned stock determination rule to material master

2) Deleted delivery line item and recreated it.
