Unable to change password

Hi Experts,

I am using following iView to change password:

com.sap.portal.persoUserPassword

I am unable to change password using this iView. I am getting following error message:

"Password may not be changed."

Could you please let me know what is going wrong here which is prohibiting me to change password.

Please note that I am using EP 7. In EP 7, above iView is not supported. Hence, I have set ume.admin.wdactive=false in the ume properties using the configtool & then restarted j2ee server

Hi,

Change the password by going to User Administration->Identity Management-> choose user-> Select the user name and click on Modify. Then in General Info tab you can enter a new password. You can also change other user's password in the same way.
