SAP PPM Project Management - Project View in Workcenter Application

Dear PPM Experts,

Objective is to hide "Import Project" and "Export Project" in PPM Project Management > Project view (dashboard) in Workcenter Application as shown below -

My understanding is that from security perspective not able get this done as we could not find any authorization objects other than "WDY_APPLICATION - Projects " if this is taken out from role it will take away entire Projects view

On the other hand also tried with Webdynpro screen configuration (see attached document for step by step configuration) where in could not save successfully even after TR creation. Very close but NOT Yet there..any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Dear Vijay,

unfortunately this changes can't be done via Admin-Personalization as you showed it in the attached document. This buttons are part of the WD ALV and are generated programmatically on start-up.

You can do this only via enhancement to CL_DPR_UI_LOG_LOCATOR.

For example with a Post-Exit for the method GET_VI_LOCATOR_VIEWDATA. In this method buttons are generated and with a post-exit you can disable or 'delete' the buttons from the dashboard.
