Returnable packaging process

Hi,

We are selling products like industrial glues in containers of 200 KG.

During production of this product we issue the glue and the container from stock,

getting the product  GC1 for example.

Since the container is a returnable package we want to use the “Returnable packages” process in SD.

In Sales order we enter the product GC1 in first line.

Now, to use the returnable packaging process I know that we have to put the container

(that have the proper Item category group – LEIH ) in a separate line, and thus getting

the item category TAL .

But,

Doing that, when PGI the delivery it will also issue the container from stock,

which was already issued for the production.

We use Make to stock process, so also from costing requirements,

we cannot put in SO in one line only the glue and in the second line the container.

Any suggestions how do we overcome this conflict, will be appreciated.

try to remove the Container from BOM/production order and issue the GI during delivery processing.
