SLT Data migration from TWO different SOURCE tables based on a field

Hi, Does SLT supports bringing the Data from ECC to S4 where the selection is based on a field from TWO different tables in source (ECC)? Let's say, there are TWO tables, A & B and a common field X; need to bring the data where B-X = A-X into a Z TABLE (S4 HANA). any help is appreciable.

Thanks!

Hi RB,

No this is not possible. One workaround would be to create a view on both tables with the wanted filter (there is a lot of threads on view replication on sdn) but this is far from perfect (triggers are only created for one of the table).

For more info on view replication, see here.

Hi Frederic, our requirement is to trigger from T2 only, but the records from T2 should filter on a key field from T1, have gone through the attached view replication doc, couldn't find the necessary info to handle our scenario.

Hi RB,

Where exactly have you been lost ?

The first step described in the document is the creation of a DB view (in the example a join on the tables SCARR and ZSFLIGHT_01). You can see in the associated screen catures that there is a tab "Selections conditions" where you can define some filters with fields of both tables.

Frederic
