I encountered error when I use the TMS Check Transport Tool. Both DB Connect and Offline Call failed during tp Call. Below are the log from the error.
I have seen through notes 351586 TP: DBSL error 107, DB error 208 with Connect and have set up the enviornment variables and the users in the SQL server. Yet am not able to resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Aniruddha

Hello,
Can you please check the instance profile of parameter dbs/mss/schema? And what is the value of environment varible MSSQL_SCHEMA for the user <SID>adm and SAPService<sid>? They're supposed to be the same.

Joe

Hi,
The environment variables are the same for erpadm and SAPServiceERP, ERP being the <SID>.
When i try to connect from command line using the command tp PF=d:\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ERP.PFL connect ERP. this works fine for user erpadm. but somehow it is falling when i try to run the Check tool through STMS transaction. I have re-started the server, been through the registries but the failed DB_Connect is not going away.
Regards,
Aniruddha Gargya
The default profile (default.pfl) has the following entries.
SAPDBHOST = IWDFVM2160
dbms/type = mss
dbs/mss/server = IWDFVM2160
dbs/mss/dbname = ERP
dbs/mss/schema = erp
system name being IWDFVM2160.
None of the other profile files have any of the entries mentioned above: the files are(ERP_DVEBMGS10_iwdfvm2160, ERP_SCS00_iwdfvm2160)
Do i need to make an entry in any of these files.
Regards,
Aniruddha
Hi Aniruddha,
I'm facing exactly the same problem. I tried the everything else and also te notes you have suggested. The sp_check_sap_login procedure is running for more than 10 minutes in the repair mode!! and i cancelled it.
Please let me know what exactly you did to solve this issue.
Thanks in Advance
Set Environment variable in the user <SID>adm / SAPService<sid> and windows registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > SAP > <SID> > Environment >
DBMS_TYPE = mss
