Dear Freinds,
When I check into the st06 during our pic hours the idle time is very low.
Even I checked the top 40 CPU processes, the users are as below
<sid>adm
ora<sid>
ora<sid>
ora<sid>
<sid>adm
daaadm
<sid>adm
root
<sid>adm
orapnc
sapadm
root
root
ora<sid>
ora<sid>

Can anyone tell how to analyze further to increase the CPU idle time of the system.
Regards,
Hi,
Also take into mind that st06 depends on saposcol/saphostexec data.
It may be worth it to at in the peak times have a look at O/S level as well i.e. task manager in windows and/or top in unix/linux environment to see if the results you see are accurate.
Idle time in peak times would be a blessing but also could mean if this information is accurate perhaps you can re-assign them somewhere assuming it is possible on your servers.
Kind Regards,

Hello Sonal,
The purpose of the CPU is to be used .
So, if you see a low CPU idle time during peak hours, I would not say that this is a problem itself.
Is this causing performance issues in the system? For example, the users are experiencing slowness during peak hours, and when performing the same task at non-peak hours it is faster.
If there is indeed a performance issue, you can consider to:
