Putaway and picking strategy double deep racking or Rolling shelves

Dear Gurus

Which putaway strategy can i use for double deep racking? Besides which putaway strategy can i use for Rolling shelves (store several pallets behind eachother)?

Handling unit management is used and also batch management. Besides FIFO is used.

If you are primarily replenishing from reserve stock and your search strategy for replen is stringent FIFO, then I can't see any problem with using either put away strategy I - Add to existing Stock or F- Fixed Bin however, you will have a problem when your batch numbers change as the bin will have to be empty before you can replenish with a new batch, so consideration will need to be given as to how often the batch number changes.

In terms of removal, as long as you are using stringent FIFO for replenishment, then I see no issue with also using F-FIFO as a removal strategy.
