New Pricing Procedure

Hi,

Please guide me for the following query:

We already have a pricing procedure through which we do scrap sale.

Now there is a requirement to change some steps in the calculation (which needs changes in the pricing procedure for example change in criteria of a tax condition application).

Please guide in this case whether we should copy the existing pricing procedure and do the changes or should i make changes in the existing pricing procedure.

If i make changes in the existing pricing procedure then wouldn't it make impact on the existing sales documents.

Please guide.

With Best Regards

MP Vashishth

Hi,

This effects the Open Documents.

you need to close all open documents and try new changes with a cut-off date

or

go for a New pricing procedure

Hope you have a condition type for TCS which is applicable for Scrap Sales.  If the scrap sale is happening from India, you should have implemented OSS note 1168591

Hi,

You can insert the new step in the existing pricing procedure for new condition type.

It will impact on open sales orders only.Old pricing procedure structure will be available in the open orders which were created earlier than pricing procedure changes.

Any how new order will trigger new pricing structure.

Regards,

Murali.
