SAP HANA Cloud Connector connection failed

Hello,

We installed SAP Cloud Connector to connect IDES and HCP which there was in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4 x86_64 (64-bit) on AWS.

We installed sapjvm_6.1.080 at the same time.

The installation succeeds; #SAP HANA Cloud Connector 2.8.0.1 started on localhost was displayed with https://localhost/8443.

However, FireFox is displayed with error "Secure Connection Failed" when we open up https://localhost:8443.

Please tell me the solution to this problem.

Hi Hiroyasu,

Which version of Firefox do you use? If your Firefox is not latest one, try with latest one to see if it can behave differently.Please also check whether Firefox has same network/proxy setting as IE.

As you may know SAP Cloud Connector need to be accessed via HTTPS, it is recommended to follow SAP HANA Cloud Platform to replace default SSL certificate with your own one so as to avoid certificate warning. This may also resolve the issue you are facing with Firefox.

It is displayed with "Secure connection failed".
