the errors can be traced by various ways, for example communication channel monitoring, end-end monitoring, message monitoring, alerts etc

No Tcode since AFW is not a part of ABAP stack. It is a part of Java stack.

Convert native lang to XML and viceversa.

Small integration engine based on AFW. It does not have all capablites of XI server. It can process received XML msgs.
