Kerberos: Error during initialization of GSS

Dear Experts,

We're facing the Error during initialization of GSS;Major: "Miscellaneous failure [851968]" when we try to Startup the Database.

Our HANA share was full as always. As we did in the past, in HANA offline mode, we deleted the old logs that are no longer required and increased our File system size. And then, we tried to start the Database but we're not able to Up it. In the logs, we found the error Kerberos: Error during initialization of GSS;Major: "Miscellaneous failure [851968]".

Any ideas, please?

Please make sure you have followed:

Note 1837331 - HOWTO HANA DB SSO Kerberos/ Active Directory to install the necessary Kerberos libraries.

Also 2213300 - "Connection failed (RTE:[-1] Kerberos error. Major: "Miscellaneous failure [851968]", minor: " [100001]")" when trying to connect to HANA.

Just to clarify, this is not a reason for the DB failing to start. This is just a minor warning regarding the Kerberos set up, it had/has no impact on the starting of the DB.

SAP are currently looking into the correct reason as to why it would not start.
