SAP MDGF Profit Center to Company Code Activation

Hi,

We are using MDGF 7.0 for profit center governance and are activating the profit centers for all the company codes that are assigned to the controlling area.  We are in the middle of a major roll out where multiple countries are being added to the ECC ledger at different times and every time an entity is added, we are required to manually activate all the profit centers to the newly added company codes.

Is there an automatic way of activating the profit centers for all the company codes being newly added without going through a manual file upload or conversion process?

Why can't you use the file upload and 1 step workflow process? Prepare a layout which you can use it further for all roll outs...

First load all PC's and then use assignment of company code to PC's using file upload. This way all the PC's will be activated for the new company codes.

Hi Kiran,

Yes, that is the current process we are following but wanted to see if there is any automatic way of handling this within MDG. In ECC, this step of manual activation is required and the business are not used to perform this step.
