Master forecast profile Forecast and history Horizon

Hello Experts,

In our business scenario, we take history horizon as 36 months and forecast as 12 months.

As per current month, history horizon is June 2013 to May 2016.and future horizon is Aug 2016 to July 2017.

If we maintain History periods as 36 months and forecast periods as 12 months, forecast runs from July 2016 itself ? How do we over come and ensure stat forecast run from Aug 2016 .

You can setup offset period in Forecast profile.

What should be my offset period  for forecast horizon and history horizon? As i'm in June and want the stat forecast to run from Aug'16 to July 17 if i give periods as 12 fore forecast and 36 for history

the forecast offset would be +1 imho.
