DMS "Originals" tab inactive

Hi,

Since, I am a newbie to DMS configuration, I dont have much idea on its configuration.

But, We have recently upgraded our SAP ERP and we are facing an issue as I am not being able to CHECK-IN for documents from "Originals" tab but the same is working fine from "Original" Column inside "General Data" tab.

Even we are not being able to make changes or open documents from "Original" tab.

Are there any changes done in the new upgrade? Since, post update it is not working in all the three (DEV, QUA and PRODUCTION) servers.

Also, I would like to know what are the configuration steps to create a view for CV01N.

Need help. Please guide

Dear Chintan,

Did you not catch this during your post upgrade testing in Dev or QA system .

Which version have you upgraded to and which was your earlier version ? Did you upgrade to EHP 7 ?

Check if you can evaluate and implement below correction notes, and confirm if they solve the problem.

All the notes below are fairly recent and are applicable to SAP_APPL release version 617.

2127262 - PLM DMS : Unable to checkin originals in CV01N/CV02N

2111318 - PLM DMS : Issues in saving non kpro originals in CV01N/CV02N

2134466 - PLM DMS : Unable to access file from CV01N/CV02N

It was by bad not to catch this in testing as I said I am a newbie to DMS.

Yes our current SAP_APPL is 617 and we have upgraded to latest SUM 16 patch 17.

The Notes mentioned by you are not relevant in my case .

Also, I have found a strange problem now is the date and time in document original section is incorrect and it has also changed the dates of old document to some weird date.

Attaching a screenshot herewith for your reference.

Hi Chin2,

regarding the Date/Time issue please try to implement note 2264636 which solved similar kind of issues already.

Regarding the initial reported issue could you please check if the functions work when you are working on the "Document Data" tab?

Because if this only happens on the "originals" tab then the reason is maybe the result of the implementation of the improvement note 2181000

The workaround I can propose you to select the entire line is to click on the application icon.
