Modify CONTACT Tables in DATA MANAGEMENT section

Hi all,

Is there way to modify the visible attributes for an Interaction Contact in the contact tables withing the DATA MANAGEMENT section.

I would like to have ONLY this 5 attributes at the tables:

# Full Name

# Email

# Region

# City

# Postcode

no other attributes should be visible or selectable.

Hi,

as far as I know it is no possiblity to change it via customizing. What you can do, you can copy the BSP and implement your own without the attributes. Afterthat you have to create a launchpad entry for your new created BSP and add them to the PFCG role and remove the old one from the role.

Another possibility is to use the personalization, where the admin can remove all the fields, but with this Option the enduser is able to make it visible again.

What is your use case, why you want to remove the fields?

Hi,

Joerg's suggestion with the launchpad and pfcg role will work in versions <=1602, with the Fiori Launchpad in releases >=1605 it's a bit different, there you have to use the so called "Fiori Designer" to add a tile for your BSP, but before you can do that, you'll also have to adapt the technical and business catalogs.

Thanks for your response.

I thought the customization could be easily done by editing a hana view.

I will check if your approach will make sense regarding the necessary effort.
