Different inspection plans to different inspection types

Hi,

I want to create different MICs for different inspection types. How do we assign different inspection plans to different inspection types? Usage types in QM task list do not provide detailed information. Is there any other way to assign inspection plans to inspection types?

Hi Adarsh,

You can do this by following way without any custom development.

1. Create different Usage like Z1- for inspection type XX, Z2-For inspection type .....etc

2. Assign the usage to these inspection types.

3. Create Different inspection plans with different usage.

Now, when you create the inspection lot with particular inspection type the system will determine the inspection plan based on the usage for the inspection type of that inspection lot.

There are no other means to achieve this with standard SAP. You can create a custom development cater this requirement if you do not want to follow the standard approach.
