Hi Aravind,

SPPD - Successor Product Planning Date --> The date on which your successor product will be started Planning (demands of all the predecessor products will be passed to Successor product)

SPRD - Successor Product Receipt Date --> the date on which successor product expected to be received in your warehouse.

Determination of the Successor Product Planning Date - Product Interchangeability in SPP - SAP Libra...

SPRD calculation depends upon the DRP MODE you're using at each location.

Hello Vinoth,

Greetings for the day

Thanks for the reply.

I guess SPRD = SPPD + Supplier delivery time to the entry location.

Here the Supplier delivery time to the entry location is the procurement lead time maintained the master data for the particular product location combination right ?

Please correct me if am wrong.

In our case we have both the SPPD and SPRD dates are the same.

The DRP mode is Period Based.

could please share your thought why SPPD and SPRD would be the same ?

Yes Aravind,

SPRD = SPPD + Longest Lead time from Supplier to Entry Location.

Whether system is taking the Lead Time maintained in MAT1 or in Scheduling Agreement is depends upon the setting you maintained. Check this

Also Check the Scheduling Scenarios configurations.

If the Valid From date, SPPD date are in the past and if there is no stock at predecessor then system tend to create the same SPPD & SPRD when you run the Supersession service.

Is this situation is for all the products or only for few products ?

Hello Vinoth,

Thanks

We have both SPPD and SPRD the same for all the products now. But sometime back they were different.

Check if you've any BADI implemented related to INCMD.

Test the following

Create a new supersession chain with predecessor having some stock and try running the Superession date calculation service and then validate the results.

Note - Check the PSM application logs without fail on /sapapo/pe_log_disp

sorry for late reply, havent been for here quite while

Hi Aravind and Vinoth,

Successor product planning date(SPPD) plus the supplier delivery time to the entry location of BOD = SPRD(Successor Product Receipt Date).

As per my understanding  SPPD + Planned Delivary time  =  SPRD.

you can maintain Planned delivery time in the procurement Relation ship Master data and in the location product master data on the procurment tab page.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Mallampalli,

We have maintained the planned delivery as 18 days in both.

As per the logic SPRD = SPPD + Planned delivery time from the supplier to entry point.

Here in our case we have SPPD as 22.06.2016

SPRD = 22.06.2016 + 18

SPRD should be 10.07.2016, but both SPPD and SPRD have the same date as 22.06.2016

Its not necessarily that always SPRD = SPPD + PDT, it depends upon the other dates like SED, SEWD, if all these things are in past then you may get SPRD equals SPPD
