SM 7.2 CHARM: No IBase component has been assigned to the document

Hello.

I configure CHARM in SM 7.2 SP2.

I received such error message:

No IBase component has been assigned to the document.

SMCR of SM 7.1 has PPF SMCR_ASSIGN_SOLMAN_IBASE.

I created  PPF ZMCR_ASSIGN_SOLMAN_IBASE. But this PPF isn't valid.

How to solve this problem?

This error message is only on the first status E0001 - created. There is no message in other statuses.

The 7.2 version should not have that check to be performed. Please perform the following to fix the issue.

Go to transaction SM34 -> Enter aic_settings in the cluster field and click on Maintain.

Select your transaction type (for example SMCR) and double click on the Assign Consistency Checks on the left

Search for the entries E0001 -> IB_SYST_CHK and E0004 -> IB_SYST_CHK

and delete these entries. The change needs to be saved in a transport request

Go back to CharM and try saving your request for change again. It should work.

2264465 - ChaRM: IBase Component is missing if Request for Change is created by copying from another...

1907494 - Current IBase component is not in an active IBase - Solution Manager 7.x   (This note is valid for 7.1 but can be referenced).
