Header Access sequence required to be automated

Dear all,

Client has asked for a header condition type to be automated and she is particular that she doesn't want an item condition type. This CType is marked for both and header though...

This is a percentage discount type and the discount is distributed amongst the item conditions based on their value.

Could anyone please suggest?

Thanks...

Usually for header condition there is no access sequence involved. Can you be specific how you are going to enter header condition? whether this is default value? or going to calculate from from some specific value?

Yes, the value would get updated from a third party tool. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the value would get updated from a third party tool.

Can you provide more details on this? how and where the pricing value is captured in SAP? Any Z-table or it will directly update the condition type? Is there any condition base value routine added for the condition type? If the condition type is checked for manual in the pricing procedure, then try to update the condition directly from the source system.

Without much details on how the third party tool is linked to SAP, it would be hard to provide solutions. By the way, what is the name of the third party tool?

Regards,

Hi

Had you done searching before posting, you could have found this beautiful document:

Bear in mind that SAP never copies header conditions to subsequent documents, so this might have consequent effects (Client may decide to change this automated condition record on one particular sales order, only to find out that it will be calculated again in the billing document).
