Hi All,

Below is the issue am facing currently,

In NWA >> under Threads  >>  Long Running

Here the number of long running threads keeps on increasing and from where we see it when this happens the site itself seems to stop responding.

The number keeps on increasing ,

@agenda: I would like to know weather there is any software that is presently available for us to analyse these thread dumps.

Hello Kaushik,

What are you running on your J2EE ? EP ? and what Version+SP level are you on ?

There is a wiki that will help you with that.

That's just a starting point. If you have long running threads you need to check your traces, resources (cpu+mem) etc ....

Hi Amerjit,

Thank you for the info ,will use the thread dump viewer tool and will let you know the findings

Currently am running Java application servers , yes EP , SAP netweaver 7.3 , CRM 7,0 EHP2 , wCEM SPS8 NWDI  7.31.

Thank you Amerjit , this helped a lot. This issue was caused in a couple of the content servers at that point of time number of logs got generated and because of this trace (logs) being written there was high CPU. Thanks and Regards, Kaushik G
