CCMS for Oracle in JAVA only system

Hello,

we configured remote ccms in our Solution Manager 7.1 SP13, for an JAVA 7.40 only system.

The monitoring ist working fine, but I'am missing the Oracle database monitoring checks. It's just:

Following checks are missing:

The system is configured in dbacockpit of the SM and data is collected.

Did I forgot something ?

Hello Lukas,

if you are missing some MTEs in RZ20, then always the first things to check are if there is enough space in monitoring shared memory segment on the instance with the affected context and if the data collector was started by the dispatcher and is running without problems.

The space in CCMS shared memory segment you can check here:

RZ20 --> SAP CCMS Technical Expert Monitors

                --> CCMS Selfmonitoring

                     --> <SID> --> MoniInfra_ <instance>

                          --> Space

                      double click on "FreeAlertSlots"

In "RZ21 --> Topology --> Context oevrview --> Display overview" you can find on which instance the affected context is located.

Please double check all relevant points from the SAP note:

Hi,

thanks very much, i found my mistake. I ran the script for Java systems from note 1139623 in sqlplus as sysdba.

No errors where shown, but the dbcheckora table was empty. I need to run it under SAPSR3DB User.
