Different Retention Period Brtools

Hi Team,

We are setting up a cleanup activity of backups using brtools. We have a requirement.

Offline Backup retention period is 30 days.

Online Backup retention period is 21 days

Archive log/Offline redo logs retention period is 21 days.

How we can achieve this with single cleanup DB13 Job.

As per my knowledge If I set parameter "cleanup_disk_archive" to 21 days so I can achieve for archive logs.

and the problem comes here , we have only one parameter "cleanup_disk_backup" for setting up the deletion retention period for both Offline and Online Backup.

So how we can achieve the above requirement. Offline Bkp=30 days and Online Bkp=21 days with the single parameter "cleanup_disk_backup".

As far as I know, it works for both online and offline, and not for the seperate.

Thanks for your reply Ting.Yes I guess we need to change the common retention period for both instead of going for different.Currently we are achieving the retention for different using UNIX script.

So we are checking, is there any possibility from DB13 sap side.

Please let me know your views to achieve this from sap level.
