Dear Experts,
We are creating the project structure by copying from std wbs. My coding mask includes alpha and numeric.
My issue is after copying from std wbs system is considering alpha as numeric it is not copying as alpha as I shown in the below example
Std wbs--------------- ABC- 1621-C-D-01
Operative ------------ ABC- 1621-1-1-01
How to resolve this issue.
Thanks
Praveen

Hi Shubham,
I cannot provide you the screen shot but my coding mask is ABC-000000-X-X-00.
We are implementing IM. From IMA11 I am creating the project and at the same time. I am copying WBS structure from the std wbs in IMA11.
In the std WBS structure there is Alpha Eg: ABC-000000-C-D-01
When I open the project in Cj20n It is Showing ABC-000000-1-1-01
Instead of alpha it is taking numeric.
Thanks
Praveen
Hi,
SAP Note 553661 FAQ 2 Coding Masks says:
"
2.1 Question: Why do I have inconsistent (standard) project definitions and (standard) WBS elements in the system?
Answer: The problem may occur after the creation or transport of coding masks. If there are already projects, standard projects, WBS elements or standard WBS elements in the target system, inconsistencies may occur if at least one of these objects already starts with a string that corresponds to a key of the project coding masks to be transported / created. You can find more information in Notes 520944 and 158714. You can find a report for the analysis and correction of the inconsistencies in Note 453280."
