2 WH's connected to 1 Yard

Hi Experts,

I would like to know if we can configure 2 WH's connected to 1 Yard.

Idea is to have moving trailers from one WH to another using RF.

Appreciate response and thoughts on how to achieve it.

Hi Aravind,

YARD is nothing but a storage type ( Role : G) in one of the WHN , it can connect to multiple WHNs with warehouse  door assignment  to YARD bins ( Transaction : /SCWM/YM_DOOR_BIN ).

I assume that  'moving trailers from one WH to another using RF' means trailer movements from one bin to another bin ( ex: door area yard bins ).

These are the Adhoc movements. in mobile data entry one logical transaction ' AHHCYM ' represent ' Create Adhoc Yard WT'.

Check that logical transaction either it may fulfill requirement.

Easy access: /SCWM/YM_DOOR_BIN

WH Door - Yard WH No - Yard Bin - Yard Type - Yard Section

0001 - 0001 - PSN - Yard - Yard

0001 - 0001 - PSS - Yard - Yard

System won't allow to assign another Yard WH No for same Door, since door belongs to WH.

Even maintaining similar setup for another WH become redundant of the setup having 1 Yard for 2 WH's.

Yes, Adhoc movement is not possible between two warehouse.

Adhoc is between two bins inside the same warehouse.

standard way may not help on this

Hi Aravind,

Can you try with a new logical WHN for YARD ( keep only one storage type YARD within that).

But , it would required to assign the checkpoints to SCU of logical WHN.

what do you thing Logical WHN for Yard? Is it possible to cretae one Logical EWM WHN form more EWM Warehouses?

We have scenario, where we need to unload our Vehicle at the different EWM WHN.

We have one Vehicle, but two INB Dels and two TUs for every EWM WHN.

Please could you send me more information, how to set up the system?
