how does the netweaver refresh view's data?

hello,every body,I'm a freshman in sap,so I have a simple question:

from the tutorial in the netweaver help contents,I learn we can navigate views by using links,but if there is only one view to be shown,how can I refresh the view?

for example,in the SAP netWeaver Developer Studio's Help archive,the example,who's address is "SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Documentation /Java Development Manual/Go and Create/Using the Car Rental Web Service with Web Dynpro",just uses one view,and fresh it's data,but I can not understand how it realize this action.

Search for more information on <b>view.reset()</b> .You can use this for the refresh functionality.
