Hello Alexander,

1.

I hope you have filled in the correct CM Services URL. This might not be seen from the screenshot.

2.

Please revise & confirm you have ONLY one SLD configured with Name Server Role, in you System Landscape.

PROCEDURE ON HOW-TO CHECK WHETHER THE NAME SERVER IS CONFIGURED

SLD >>> CIM instances. From dropdown dialog box "Class" select "System Landscape Directory"

(if these settings are not displayed in SLD because it is different version please refer to note

1056333 - x:invalid-name-reservation-data for saving track in CMS

in order to find the relevent data:

b.Select Administration -> Content Maintenance -> Subset: Landscape Description and Class: System Landscape Directory (or SAP_SystemLandscapeDirectory)

In Release 7.10 or higher, you choose CIM instances on the start page of the SLD.)

In tab Properties look for Roles section. "Name Server" should be there.

This is provided you have connected to the SLD that is the Name Server in your NWDI System Landscape

3.

If the above is correct please consider you do configure the correct DTR & CBS URLs in the Local Settings tab.

Best Regards

Dear Alexander,

Do you have a SLD with this role?

Usually this exception is reported when there are none (or more than 1) SLD with Name Server role.

Dear Alexander,

As I have replied "confirm you have ONLY one SLD configured with Name Server Role, in you System Landscape."

So it seems like you do not have any. Or I might have misunderstood.

If you do have NO SLD with Name Server Role please configure this role to your central SLD.

For more details please refer to my 1st reply from today.
