HI Experts,

In our project we are using ZMDM tool to upload the transportation lanes into APO via xml file.

the issue is after uploading the file we could see that out of 5 products one product is missing and not created a tlane.

data for all the products is same. no difference in material master also.

Can anybody help on the issue ,what exactly we are missing here

vani

Vani,

Sorry, but I believe this is a tool created only in your system, by local programmers.  We have no knowledge of what this custom tool is, nor how this tool works.

I suggest you approach your local developers to analyze what the problem is.

It looks like even if one product is not existing also it wont create any single T Lane.

Try to do upload in testing server with different situations or approach developers as to understand how this tool works.

Vani,

As mentioned by expert , you can't create a material assignment to a transportation lane (via manual transaction or upload or custom program or any other normal means) unless a product master exists in both the source location and also the destination location.

Ensure that ALL required product masters exist in SCM before attempting to create transportation lanes. If you decide to create these product masters yourself, ensure that you use the proper method chosen for your particular implementation.  To find this method, speak to the solution architect.

That's not totally correct. You can create a transportation lane and assign a specific product and the product does NOT have to exists at either the source of the destination location.

There is a user setting to determine if this is allowed or not.

Now your custom program I have no idea what validity checks you have implemented.
